Our bodies send us messages every single day. Hunger tells us it’s time to eat. Thirst tells us it’s time to drink. Fatigue tells us it’s time to rest. Pain serves as a warning sign. Your body is talking right now. Are you listening?

Your body is talking much, much more than the basic signals.

How do you feel deep inside where your heart and your brain connect? How does your mind feel? What about your soul? Every part of your body is talking. Stress and overwhelm mean something, too.

How would you respond if you were to answer 100% honestly to the question “How are you?”

Do you often (and for a long time) feel:

  • Lonely?
  • Sad?
  • Disappointed?
  • Frustrated?
  • Unfulfilled?

Do you have a disproportionate number of feelings that don’t feel great? How long do they hang around? These are signs, too. If you don’t like your answers to these questions, look deeply at your decisions, habits, and life.

Your body is talking about your life. Are you listening?

Do you feel aligned? If the answer is no, why not? What is happening in your life?

While we certainly can’t control everything we experience in life, there is always something we can control. We can control how we respond. Further, we get to make lots and lots of decisions every single day.

Are you making decisions that are in line with the future you want to experience? If so, great! What can you do to keep that momentum? Is there anything you want to improve?

If the answer is no, your decisions are not aligned with the future you want, why not? What are you doing that could be changed? Perhaps more importantly, what are you thinking? Is there something preventing you from doing the things that will get you where you want to go?

This doesn’t have to be 100% of the time.

In general, are you satisfied with the way things are going? Your body is talking. It’s giving all kinds of signs to let you know if you are on a good path for you. The best part is that you are the perfect person to make any adjustments you want to make.

Consider the life you really want to live. What does it look like? How do you spend your days? What are you doing? Who are you with? Those are your goals.

If you were to take one, small step in the direction of your goals, what would it be? What would you do? How would you behave? Are there any habits you would drop or pick up? What would you be thinking?

It’s one thing to read a blog. However, it’s completely different to act on the words you read. Do you want to change your life? Great, you’re the perfect person for the job!

If you want to turn these ideas into action:

  1. Read the words again.
  2. Reflect, and journal a response to all the questions.
  3. Take it deeper with a visualization or meditation.
  4. Create an action plan for yourself.
  5. Consider anything that may stand in your way.
  6. Find a way to get around the obstacles.
  7. Make it happen.

I believe in you!!!
